More atheism might not be enough

This is written for atheists who have seen the same social problems among atheists, that they've seen in the rest of society; who have concluded that more atheism will not be enough, by itself, to improve the situation; and who are exploring other ways to address social issues, along with trying to help reduce the popularity of religion and belief in God. It may or may not be of interest to other atheists.

I'm practicing and promoting fellowship and collaboration across the widest ideological divides, as part of a solution to our social problems, and just to help improve the world in general. That might make all of our efforts more fruitful in a variety of ways. Besides, for me, that kind of fellowship and collaboration has been worth doing in itself.

If that interests you, please email me, or if you know of anyone who might be interested, please invite them to contact me.

Of course atheism will have the same problems as any other faith based belief.
Any belief pertaining to the God concept for or against is faith based.
Redefining Faith is the perfect tool for examining why the vast majority of humans are theists. In fact it is a lack of this understanding that makes a person an atheist. How can we define faith in a way that an atheist recognizes the concept and indeed embraces it in terms they can accept.
I can identify with atheists because while believing in a God I do not perceive of God as a physical entity. But at the same time, I recognize that there are boundaries I must operate within and transgressing these boundaries can have adverse reactions, punishments that can make life a living hell. On the other hand living within these boundaries can be rewarded with heaven on earth.
More about these boundaries be they physical, psychological, social or spiritual later

You question on atheist revolution the connection between faith and belief.
There is a definite correlation between the two. One must have faith in their beliefs or what is the consequence?
While my own personal bellefs are constantly changing in terms of my perception of them and the attendant implications, the foundation of those beliefs remain unchanged. There is a song "on Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand"
My understanding of the teachings attributed to Jesus demand all those teaching in the interpretation of the concepts expressed must remain true to his 2 fundamental rules.
1. Love the spirit of truth and rightness
2. Love your neighbour as yourself
Or as the Buddhist might say
1. Right thinking
2. Right acting.
My faith is based on those two tenets, but there are a myriad of implications and perceptions and interpretations of the teachings attributed to Jesus and his disciples that must above all remain true to those two commandments or those interpretations are wrong. While I know practically nothing of Mohammed or the Quran I am given to understand that the terrorists also interpret his teachings in the wrong way justifying their lying stealing and murdering innocent people in his name.
I don't think it is difficult to brainwash people into doing what they know is wrong by misinterpreting such teachings.
Sadly I see the same kind of manipulation and misinterpretation going on among atheists in their agenda to deny the existence of a greater " power or good" that we answer too in terms of our thoughts and actions. Based on your messages I know you see the same thing.
God is not a respecter of persons and causes the sun to shine and he rain to fall on the good and bad alike. However the "good" or sincere and pure of heart are more willing to listen to the spirit of truth and right than those who have a less than sincere desire for truth and right.

I see a lot to like in your way of thinking. I was curious about how original it is, so I did a Web search to see if I could find anyone else saying what you're saying, and I couldn't.

Have you seen anyone else thinking this way? Have you seen any favorable responses to it anywhere?
